Abstract

Background

Stem Cell Worx® Intraoral Spray is a patented dietary supplement formulated with three biologically active ingredients, high-grade bovine colostrum, trans-resveratrol, and fucoidan, selected for their complementary roles in supporting endogenous stem cell activity, cellular regeneration, immune function, and tissue repair. The formulation utilizes an intraoral (buccal/sublingual) delivery system designed to optimize the absorption of suitable bioactive compounds while minimizing gastrointestinal degradation and first-pass hepatic metabolism.

Objective

This review summarizes physician-led clinical evaluations, laboratory analyses, patent-protected formulation research, and current peer-reviewed scientific literature supporting the biological rationale for the Stem Cell Worx® formulation and its potential role in supporting endogenous stem cell activity, cellular health, tissue regeneration, and overall physiological wellness.

Methods

Evidence presented in this publication includes physician-led clinical evaluations conducted between 2011 and 2015, laboratory analyses, and a comprehensive review of selected PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed publications investigating bovine colostrum, trans-resveratrol, fucoidan, and intraoral drug delivery. Publications were selected based on their relevance to stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, oral mucosal absorption, tissue repair, and related physiological mechanisms.

Results

Physician-led evaluations demonstrate increases in circulating endogenous stem cell populations together with favorable changes in selected clinical observations during supplementation. The reviewed literature and analysis demonstrates that bovine colostrum contains numerous naturally occurring growth factors, cytokines, peptides, and extracellular vesicles associated with stem cell signaling and tissue regeneration. Trans-resveratrol has been extensively investigated for its ability to support stem cell survival, self-renewal, differentiation, and protection against oxidative stress. Fucoidan has demonstrated biological activities relevant to stem cell proliferation, migration, angiogenesis, immune modulation, and regenerative repair. Contemporary research also supports intraoral drug delivery as an effective administration route for these bioactive compounds by facilitating rapid absorption through the highly vascularized oral mucosa while reducing gastrointestinal degradation and partially avoiding hepatic first-pass metabolism.

Conclusions

The combined physician-led evaluations and current peer-reviewed scientific literature provide a biological rationale supporting the patented Stem Cell Worx® intraoral formulation as a nutritional approach to supporting endogenous stem cell activity, cellular health, tissue repair, immune function, and overall physiological wellness. The growing body of scientific evidence provides strong support for this formulation. Further randomized, controlled clinical trials will reinforce these findings and help establish its broader clinical applications.

Highlights

Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray is an all-natural health supplement.

The following laboratory analyses, along with clinical and scientific research, support the biological activity and wellness potential of the Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray. Collectively, these findings indicate that the Stem Cell Worx formulation promotes cellular activation, supports endogenous stem cell activity, and contributes to healthy physiological function, providing a scientific foundation for its potential role in overall health and wellness.

The Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray underwent a two-year evaluation before launching on the open market. These evaluations were carried out by multiple physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of its research and development phase, including testing at the Ghaly Regenerative Medicine Center in California.

In addition, the individual ingredients (bovine colostrum, trans-resveratrol, and fucoidan) are referenced in more than 10,000 PubMed-indexed [1–27], peer-reviewed scientific publications describing a range of health and wellness benefits. Of these publications, more than 5,000 discuss findings related to stem cell proliferation, endogenous stem cell activation, cellular renewal, tissue repair, and overall cellular health.

Key PubMed publications supporting the role of these ingredients in promoting the activation and release of the body's own stem cells are provided in Section 2 of this article.

The Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray formulation combines three complementary mechanisms of cellular activation that collectively support overall health and wellness.

All ingredients are purified and rigorously tested in the U.S.A. prior to each manufacturing run, ensuring consistent purity, potency, and quality in every batch.

Unlike most liquid supplements, Stem Cell Worx formulations are intentionally unfiltered to preserve the full potency, purity, and biological integrity of each key ingredient.

The intraoral delivery (sprayed under the tongue) is the most effective way to absorb these nutrients, providing a 95% absorption rate compared to pills and capsules that only provide 10% absorption. Stem Cell Worx supplements are manufactured in a U.S.A. laboratory that is GMP-certified, NSF-registered and independently validated by Eurofins.

Patent CA 2,846,416 has been awarded to Stem Cell Worx for its tripartite formulation for providing natural antioxidant protection, supporting healthy immune function, and enhancing overall cellular activity, including the promotion and support of endogenous stem cell populations throughout the body.

1.   Blood Work Testing and Analysis on the Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray Supplement

1.1 First Phase Testing Undertaken By Doctor Fouad I. Ghaly M.D., California, U.S.A.

Preliminary patient blood assessments performed in 2011 indicated significant reductions in inflammation-related biomarkers and blood glucose levels after eight weeks of Stem Cell Worx supplementation. Participants also reported increased energy, improved mobility, accelerated recovery following surgery, and improved immune health during ongoing use.

1.2 Second Phase Testing, Doctor Fouad I. Ghaly M.D.

Between 2012 and 2015, a physician-led medical evaluation by Dr. Fouad I. Ghaly was conducted involving twenty participants (twelve females and eight males) aged between 40 and 75 years who took the Stem Cell Worx supplement for 10 weeks at the daily dose of 12 sprays per day. Peripheral blood samples were obtained from participants at the three-week assessment point and again during the eight to ten week follow-up period. The blood was processed using centrifugation-based isolation techniques, after which stem cell populations were quantified using validated cellular analysis methods.

1.3 Study Findings

The following graph illustrates the study findings, demonstrating a significant association between Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray supplementation and increased endogenous stem cell populations, supporting its potential role in enhancing naturally occurring stem cell activity.

2. The Ingredients Supported By Pub Med Publications and Clinical Research

Advances in scientific literature databases and AI-assisted research tools have made it easier than ever to access the extensive body of research supporting the ingredients in the Stem Cell Worx formulation. Collectively, these ingredients have been evaluated and studied in more than 5,000 PubMed-indexed [1–27], peer-reviewed scientific publications investigating their potential roles in supporting stem cell proliferation, endogenous stem cell activation, cellular renewal, tissue repair, and overall cellular health. This section provides a concise overview of selected clinical studies and key PubMed-indexed publications relevant to the formulation and its individual ingredients.

The three key ingredients in the Stem Cell Worx formulation complement each other by providing biological pathways to support the activation and sustained mobilization of endogenous stem cells into the bloodstream.

Together, these complementary biological actions support stem cell activity, cellular regeneration, tissue repair [1–18], and overall physiological health.

The Stem Cell Worx® formulation is manufactured using exceptionally high-purity ingredients selected to meet rigorous quality standards. All Stem Cell Worx formulations are intentionally unfiltered throughout the manufacturing process to preserve the natural potency, integrity, and full biological profile of each key ingredient.

In addition to their inherently lower absorption, conventional pills and capsules typically contain a variety of non-active ingredients that serve manufacturing rather than nutritional purposes. Tablet coatings, binders, fillers, lubricants, flow agents, and anti-caking compounds are commonly added to improve tablet compression, prevent ingredients from sticking to manufacturing equipment, and expedite the manufacturing process. These excipients contribute little to the nutritional value of the finished product and are generally unnecessary in high-quality liquid formulations.

Another important consideration is the widespread use of proprietary blends in capsules and tablets. Proprietary blends often combine multiple ingredients under a single total weight, making it impossible for consumers to determine the precise amount, purity, or source of each individual ingredient. For maximum transparency, consumers should look for formulations that clearly identify every active ingredient individually, together with its standardized potency, purity, or concentration percentage.

The following peer-reviewed scientific publications demonstrate how the core ingredients in the Stem Cell Worx formulation each contribute unique biological pathways that support endogenous stem cell activity. [1–18] Together, these complementary pathways provide a synergistic approach to promoting stem cell viability, protection, proliferation, regenerative function, and overall cellular health.

  • Bovine Colostrum emphasizes stem cell support, viability, proliferation, and regenerative signaling.

  • Trans-Resveratrol emphasizes stem cell protection, self-renewal, and anti-oxidative support.

  • Fucoidan emphasizes stem cell migration, survival, angiogenesis, and tissue regeneration.

2.1  Bovine Colostrum

All bovine colostrum in Stem Cell Worx supplements is collected from pasture fed cows within twelve hours of the cows giving birth. It is always GMO-free, the cows are hormone treatment free and BSE-free. There is always enough bovine colostrum left for the newborn calf as it’s vital for their immunity and strength at birth.

IgG stands for Immunoglobulin G, the most abundant type of antibody in your blood and bodily fluids, making up 75% of all antibodies in the body. It is a crucial part of your immune system that protects you from infections. The IgG in Stem Cell Worx supplements tests between 30 IgG and 42 IgG levels.

Stem cell mobilization from the bone marrow is primarily driven by naturally occurring growth factors, most notably Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF).

The following study was carried out at The Immunotherapy Clinic, in Auckland, New Zealand. This study compared the Stem Cell Worx formulation against a capsule containing AFA (Aphanizomenon flos-aquae) commonly referred to as blue-green algae, and a stand-alone colostrum. The study illustrates the significant stimulation of G-CSF associated with the Stem Cell Worx formulation.

Image 2

G-CSF is one of the best-known stem cell mobilizing factors. G-CSF (filgrastim) is routinely administered before peripheral blood stem cell collection because it:

  • Increases circulating hematopoietic stem cells (CD34+ cells)

  • Promotes stem cell release from the bone marrow

  • Facilitates stem cell transplantation

In addition to demonstrating significantly increased G-CSF levels, the Stem Cell Worx formulation contains a broad spectrum of naturally occurring bioactive compounds, including cytokines, peptides, and multiple growth factors such as IGF-1, IGF-2, Transforming Growth Factors (TGF)-α and -β, Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), Fibroblast Growth Factors (FGFs), and Platelet-Derived Growth Factors (PDGFs). Collectively, these bioactive components are recognized for their role in supporting stem cell biology, cellular regeneration, tissue repair, and overall physiological health.

    2.2. Resveratrol

The resveratrol in all Stem Cell supplements is from Japanese knotweed and is purified in the U.S.A. (as per all its ingredients) to a 98% to 99% purity level.

Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica, formerly Polygonum cuspidatum) is one of the richest, natural sources of trans-resveratrol, containing substantially higher concentrations of resveratrol than grapes, berries, or peanuts. High-purity trans-resveratrol is absorbed more readily in the body than other forms of resveratrol and it has been extensively studied in clinical and laboratory research.

The key role of a high-grade trans resveratrol in terms of stem cells is:

    • Stem cell survival

    • Self-renewal

    • Regenerative potential

    • Tissue repair

    2.3 Fucoidan

The Stem Cell Worx formulation contains a 95% pure fucoidan naturally derived from brown seaweed, one of the world's richest sources of this unique marine polysaccharide. Naturally abundant in antioxidants, essential trace minerals, and bioactive compounds, fucoidan has been extensively studied for its ability to support stem cell survival, proliferation, differentiation, and regenerative functions. [13–18]

Published research also demonstrates fucoidan’s role in supporting healthy immune function [16–18], including the production of interferon-γ and interleukin-12. In addition, researchers from the Discipline of Medicine in Hobart, Australia, reported that oral fucoidan supplementation increased CXCR4 expression on human CD34+ stem and progenitor cells, a receptor that plays an important role in stem cell homing and migration.

    Fucoidan Supports:

    • Stem Cell Survival and Cellular Protection

    • Stem Cell Proliferation and Viability

    • Stem Cell Differentiation and Tissue Regeneration

    • Angiogenesis and Regenerative Repair

    3. Intraoral Delivery - A Superior Approach For Nutrient Absorption

All Stem Cell Worx supplements are delivered by intraoral spray delivery. This form of delivery is superior as it provides a 95% absorption rate compared to only a 10% [19–27] absorption rate that pills and capsules provide.

    Image 6

The patented Stem Cell Worx® intraoral spray delivery is engineered to overcome many absorption barriers associated with conventional tablets and capsules.

The highly vascularized oral mucosa regions within the mouth, including the sublingual and buccal tissues, facilitate rapid absorption of the bioactive compounds within each Stem Cell Worx supplement.

    Image 7

Key scientific advantages of intraoral and buccal delivery include:

    • Protection from gastrointestinal degradation [19–27]

    • Avoidance of hepatic first-pass metabolism [19–27]

    • Rapid absorption and onset of action [19–27]

    • Direct uptake through the highly vascularized oral mucosa [19–27]

    • Enhanced bioavailability for suitable bioactive compounds [19–27]

The other important aspect is the time factor. The oral mucosa areas are highly vascularized. When a compound is absorbed through the sublingual or buccal tissues, it can enter the bloodstream directly through the local capillary network, reducing exposure to gastric acid and digestive enzymes and avoiding first-pass metabolism in the liver. [19–27]

By contrast, pills and capsules must typically:

    1. Travel to the stomach.

    2. Undergo gastric emptying.

    3. Reach the small intestine.

    4. Pass through the liver before reaching systemic circulation.

This process of stomach absorption takes substantially longer than intraoral absorption as the diagram above illustrates.

Collectively, the findings presented in this review reinforce the scientific rationale for the patented Stem Cell Worx® intraoral spray delivery system, which is specifically engineered to optimize the absorption of suitable bioactive compounds through the oral mucosa.

Major findings of intraoral drug delivery:

    • Rapid systemic availability

    • Improved patient compliance (simple, non-invasive administration)

    • Reduced first-pass metabolism

    • Improved bioavailability for suitable compounds

    • Personalized medicine opportunities.
