Clinical Trial for Multiple Sclerosis Using Stem Cells Approved in U.S.A.

This is a first for the U.S.A. A Clinical Trial for MS patients has been approved using one’s own adult stem cells from the bone marrow.

Doctor Jon LaPook from New York is heading this trial. Journalist, Richard Cohen is one of the patients receiving this groundbreaking stem cell treatment. In this 3 minute video, another patient, Megan Quinn, shares her story and optimism about being part of this clinical study.

Clinical Trial Provides Hope For ALS Patients

Researchers at Emory University in the United States are hoping to extend the lives of patients diagnosed with the deadly neuro-degenerative disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).  ALS is a crippling disease that destroys a patient’s nervous system.
