Stem Cell Empowerment Brings Transformation

Saturday, February 22nd, 2014

Bernard Siegel is a stem cell advocate, and Founder and Chairman of the World Stem Cell Summit. He is a man on a mission.

“Each cell type has different uses for different purposes,” said Mr. Siegel, referring to embryonic, adult and induced pluripotent stem cells, in which adult stem cells are reprogrammed to act like desired cells.

Some cells are better to understand the root causes of disease, some might be ready for cell transplant and others may be used as tools for drug discovery.  We need them all,” says Mr. Siegel.

In this video, Bernard shares interesting insights about his career and how stem cells are bringing transformation, thanks to so many who are being empowered by stem cell research and developments.
